iCHOR MEDiA offer two types of 12cm CDs, Duplicated CD's for smaller production runs typically 500 discs or less and Replicated CDs for larger production runs. We offer a complete production process for 12cm CDs from concept to production.
Duplicated CDs 12cm 700mb
Duplicated CD-R discs have their data burnt using a CD-R writer via the disc's writable layer . We use a specialised CD-R print and lacquer duplication machinery that can quickly produce high quality discs that are great for small quantities or very fast turnaround on larger volume orders. These discs are also suitable if your artwork design includes a wide range of colours or fine details as the print resolution is very high.

Replicated CDs 12cm 700mb
CD replication is an efficient and cost-effective production method for larger
quantities
of discs, over 500. Due to the set up costs of the manufacturing process Replicated discs are not suitable for small disc quantites. Replicated CDs are printed using a five colour silk screen or offset lithographic process. This means the artwork is printed directly onto the front of the disc, the standard process for most commercially made discs, the finish is tough and durable and the artwork wont fade or be easily scratched or damaged .
